Morning Exercise

In TAIK, our children have their morning exercise from 8.30am to 9am each day. Morning exercise "jump starts" our metabolism, keeping it elevated for hours, sometimes for up to 24 hours! It energizes our teachers and our children for the day.

Studies have shown that exercise significantly increases mental acuity—a benefit that lasts four to ten hours after a workout ends. Exercising in the morning means we get to harness that brainpower, instead of wasting it while we’re snoozing.

Another added benefit of a morning exercise is enjoying the positive mood. We want our children to feel clear and calm by exercising in the morning. Exercise makes us feel good mentally as well as physically, and that feeling can last all day after a morning exercise routine.

Our children look forward to their appointed morning exercise each day. Besides the satisfaction of taking care of themselves, they find that it’s a great time to start their day.
