Christmas Break

It's Christmas eve and all are looking forward to a good break. We just had a simple party and exchange of gifts in the spirit of Christmas. It's a pity 2 of our kids are not here today - we'll keep their presents for them until the new year.

TAIK teachers will be off until Mon 5 Jan 09. The Management and Principal of TAIK wish all teachers and staff a very merry and blessed Christmas.

End of 1st week

It has been a good first week - we have learnt a lot and we are happy to have 2 students with us. It may be a slow beginning but we are confident that with our honest and sincere intention to provide good learning for our students and value for our parents, TAIK will be the kindergarten that parents will want to send their children to. The first class newsletter was sent out on Friday 12 Dec 08 by Ms Phuong & Ms Thanh.

We are about 90% complete - over this weekend, we are putting in children's wash basins and toilet bowls. The comp lab will be completely equipped by next week and our kitchen will also be ready.

As for our curriculum and lessons, it will be an unending process of review and improvements as we learn new lessons everyday. The day we stop reviewing and improving will be the day our quality will decline.

Our class teachers will be attending a Montesorri seminar this weekend as part of their upgrading. Saturdays are set aside for teachers' professional training as we sort to imbibe in them an international outlook.

Opening Day of TAIK

Today is the official opening day of The Alpha International Kindergarten (TAIK). It has been a long journey to get this kindergarten up. TAIK will provide residents of Tan Phu District and the surrounding areas with a quality international education for students aged 2 to 5 years old.
