RWS (Resorts World Sentosa) Merlion Craft

We are celebrating SG50 by having our kids do crafts to depict scenes and symbols of Singapore. Because there are very few crafts that are Singapore-themed, we have to resort to creating our own.

Here's sharing the RWS Merlion water-bottle craft with anyone who's interested.

Christmas Craft

Everyone took our Christmas Charity Project very seriously. The amount of effort put into the craftwork to raise funds for the aged is really touching. Teachers went to great lengths to make sure that the crafts came up beautiful. In the process, they willingly spent hours on their own to give the refined touches to their children's crafts, and to make their own crafts as contributions.

Art and Craft

In TAK, we believe in the importance of Art & Craft as they are valuable aids to improve child development. They allow children to be :

  • creative - learn to do things in a new way and to think out of the box
  • persevere - learn to keep trying until they finish. And if something goes wrong, they simply persist by learning new ways and things
  • concentrate - focus on the task at hand.
  • interact socially - communication among friends
  • plan - learn that careful planning is the basis of all achievements
  • be confident - achievement of success upon completion of work
